Quality Assurance Framework

How we deliver a quality service

Three governance documents drive continuous improvement across every placement. The College Manager reviews the plan monthly, the Director of Education & Outcomes challenges progress, and the Board of Advisers reviews it termly.

Operational Delivery Plan

Key activities, responsible leads, deadlines, evidence requirements and performance measures across staffing, safeguarding, curriculum, assessment, attendance, reporting and quality assurance.

Quality Assurance Calendar

Observations, learning walks, work scrutiny, learner-file audits, safeguarding and attendance audits, staff supervision, learner and parent/carer voice, commissioner feedback, and analysis of incidents, complaints, outcomes and destinations.

Quality Improvement Plan (QIP)

Priorities from learner data, observations and audits, safeguarding and behaviour, complaints and feedback, staff supervision, commissioner reviews, regulatory changes and research. Actions are RAG-rated and only closed when evidence demonstrates impact.

QIP structure — five fields for every action

Issue and baseline
The weakness, risk or priority and supporting evidence.
Intended outcome
The measurable improvement required.
Action and resources
What will change, including training or resources.
Accountability
Named lead and completion date.
Success measure
Evidence that practice or learner outcomes improved.

Performance is reviewed termly against Council KPIs and internal targets, and shared through contract-management meetings and reports to the Board of Advisers.
