Two specialist sites. Two distinct offers. One New Seeds model.

Specialist education, Alternative Provision and pathways into adulthood

New Seeds Education is developing two complementary specialist provisions across the West Midlands and Stoke-on-Trent. Both share our commitment to small groups, personalised education, therapeutic and mental health-informed practice, meaningful qualifications and preparation for adulthood — but each has been designed around a different learner profile and local commissioning need.

Mental Health, Therapy & Wellbeing

One therapeutic philosophy, adapted to each setting

Both sites are underpinned by the SEEDS Therapeutic Model, but its practical application reflects the needs and environment of each provision.

At Albrighton

Therapeutic and wellbeing support is strengthened through:

  • Calm and predictable routines
  • Reduced sensory demand
  • Access to nature and green space
  • Outdoor learning
  • Forest-school-informed experiences
  • Animal care
  • Ecotherapy
  • Gardening and growing
  • Independent-living activity
  • Dedicated regulation spaces

At Stoke-on-Trent

Therapeutic and wellbeing support is strengthened through:

  • Movement and physical activity
  • Fitness and boxing
  • Structured coaching relationships
  • Nutrition and healthy-lifestyle education
  • Sensory and wellbeing spaces
  • Practical achievement
  • Clear routines and boundaries
  • Confidence and resilience development

An important distinction: Albrighton uses the calm rural environment as a therapeutic resource, while Stoke uses physical activity, sport and practical learning as major routes into regulation and engagement.

Commissioning & pricing

Two sites. Two distinct pricing approaches.

We do not use one universal pricing model across both sites.

Albrighton placements

Commissioners receive an individual Costed Provision Map based on:

  • EHCP Section F
  • Timetable and teaching hours
  • Staffing and supervision
  • Therapeutic provision
  • Specialist interventions
  • Personal care or medical requirements
  • Intended outcomes
  • Reporting arrangements

Stoke programmes

Stoke pricing is presented separately and may include:

  • Hourly tuition or AP rates
  • Session rates
  • Day rates
  • 2-day or 3-day programmes
  • Group packages
  • Individual staffing additions
  • Bespoke Post-16 programmes

Fees are issued against the actual programme and assessed support required. New Seeds does not apply one standard fee to learners with materially different needs.
