Our Safeguarding Commitment
New Seeds Education is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all children and young people. Safeguarding arrangements are effective, embedded, and underpinned by strong leadership oversight. Our approach promotes a culture of vigilance, where safeguarding is understood by all staff, concerns are identified early, acted upon promptly, and escalated appropriately. Learners are supported to feel safe, listened to, and confident to raise concerns, and staff demonstrate professional curiosity and accountability in their safeguarding practice.

Proprietor and Governing Body Safeguarding Assurance Statement
The Proprietor and Governing Body of New Seeds Education formally assure themselves that:
- Safeguarding arrangements are effective, compliant, and implemented consistently in practice
- This policy meets the requirements of Keeping Children Safe in Education, Working Together to Safeguard Children, and the Independent School Standards (Part 3)
- The Designated Safeguarding Lead has appropriate authority, time, training, and resources to fulfil their role effectively
- Safeguarding data, incidents, and trends are reviewed regularly, with appropriate challenge and oversight
- Safer recruitment procedures are robust, and the Single Central Record is accurate and regularly audited
- Learners' welfare, attendance, behaviour, and personal development are monitored as safeguarding priorities
The Governing Body receives regular safeguarding reports, undertakes an annual safeguarding review, and ensures that any identified weaknesses are addressed without delay.
